She was fighting/struggling/battling, but against what? Against whom? The world dissolved into a blurry chaos of pain and fear before she finally awoke, gasping/coughing/shuddering, the lingering taste of terror heavy on her tongue.

It unfolds as a gentle squeeze on your chest. You attempt to find air, but each suck of air is met with a resistance. The world around you blurs into a foggy emptiness, and your vision loses focus.

You cry out for rescue, but your sounds are muffled within the crushing darkness.
